We also have sat and had a meal close to where you had dinner. It has a lot of charm and is also very historic. I first visited Perth when I was 16 way back in the 50's and loved the city especially as we were staying at Nth Cottesloe, right on the beach at the Ocean Beach Hotel which I think is still there. Also, the boys were the most handsome I had ever encountered at that tender age so Perth has always had a special place in my heart. Pity it is so far away from this side of Australia.
